Isaiah 49 (NIV)
16 See, I have engraved you
on the palms of my hands.
Oh, what pain
what permanence
~ the love
I cannot look to earthly beings
for this love
only You can give
Jesus shows the signs
of Your engraving
where the nails
pierced
permanently
I am in awe
Humbled by the touch
of these scarred hands
