Jeremiah 29: 11-14 (NIV)
13 ‘You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and will bring you back from captivity.’
They think my life
is wonderful
I am so blessed
And I believed it too
Surely God’s hand
is upon me
Yet there is fear
down in my soul
Something is wrong
with the serene
panorama
Why is my view
so distorted?
So I looked harder
saw the glass cage
I live inside
Cutting me off
from your deep love
I will seek you Lord
with all my heart
I will find you
Bring me back from
my captivity
Help me to live
one step at a time

Wow!! Your words explain how I was feeling last week! Cut off like a glass cage. Thank you Jesus! He’s broken the glass walls I built around my own “thoughts” and “doubt’s” tearing down my barriers, reaching out!! Heath!! Thank you for your words penned from your heart and season! Thank You Jesus for opening the door to my new friend in You! Bless the hands and words he writes glorifying You!!
