Daniel 2: 19-23 (NIV)
²² He reveals deep
and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him.

I cannot escape it
not enough strength
to journey through
But the blackness tugs
at my feet
urging me to try
the impossible
I should know
better

Than to struggle
with my own shadow
Oh, Lord, I long
for the sun’s warmth
